Writing– Review summary and informative writing

Math– Understanding Division, Go Math chapter 6 test on Thursday

Online Safety Courses: Power of Words and The Key to Keywords

 

Question to ask your child:  1) “What is a cyberbully?” (Someone who uses technology tools such as the Internet and cell phones to deliberately upset someone else.)

Writing– Practice writing a summary response for KidBiz Journals

Math– Understanding Division, Go Math chapter 6.  Mid-chapter check/ quiz this week.

Social Studies- Physical and Human Geography: Changing environment

 

Question to ask your child:  1) “What is a related division fact for this multiplication equation: 3 x 4 = 12?” (12 ÷ 4 = 3 or 12 ÷ 3 = 4)

Writing– Practice writing a summary response for KidBiz Journals.  Thought Question homework starts this week.  Students will have to write a summary for homework.  Please check their homework packets on Tuesday.

Question to ask your child:  1) “What is an example of a California natural resource?” (Rich soil, trees, ocean, sun, wind, minerals, natural gas, oil etc.)
