APEX Fun Run Volunteers Needed

PTA is looking for volunteers to help with our Apex Fun Run on April 26th.The volunteers will be marking the shirts of our runners as they complete each lap. Our generous PTA will be providing lunch for the volunteers at our lunch break, but no one needs to feel obligated to stay the whole time. It’s a really fun volunteer opportunity and we would love to have as many parents as we can. Parents are also welcome to stay and watch their athletes too, of course. (Lunch is only for the volunteers though!)

If you have any interested parents, please have them contact the school office or email the PTA at…

“Answering the Call of Excellence for ALL”

April 6, 2018

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the state wide CAASPP testing approaches we wanted to let you know of an option for your child (ren).  Portions of the test require the use of headphones.  We do have headphones at school, but we have found that students are more comfortable using their own ear buds.

If your child would like to use his/her own ear buds/headphones, that is an option.  Please have your child place their ear buds in a plastic zip-lock labeled with his/her name in permanent marker.  Please have your child give them to his/her teacher by the date listed below.  They will be returned to your child after testing.  If your child does not bring a pair, they will be provided.

* 3rd Grade- Thursday, May 3

* 4th Grade- Thursday, April 26

* 5th Grade- Thursday, May 3

* 6th Grade- Thursday, April 26

 Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education

Sincerely,

Lisa Lines

Associate Principal
