This week in:

Language Arts–  Continue with character traits and dialogue. Continue working on the Close Reading strategy and text dependent questions using various KidBiz Articles and works of fiction.

Spelling: Consonant partners “ck”, and the suffix -en.

Achieve:  Article, Activity Questions and the Thought Question this week for homework.  The Thought Question is an Opinion Response.

Writing–  Finish working on writing a narrative for Farmer Brown’s Turkey.  Re-write as needed.  Begin writing “Stuck in a Snow Globe” story.

Math– Wrapping up Chapter 5- Use Multiplication Facts.  Test on Friday.  Students may log on to Think Central to practice current lessons. The link is on the right of this page.

Writing–  Finish working on the Opinion writing essay for “Should Dogs Work” and begin writing a narrative on Farmer Brown’s Turkey.

Math– Working on Chapter 4- Multiplication Strategies. Students may log on to Think Central to practice current lessons. The link is on the right of this page.  Chapter 4 review test on Wednesday and Thursday.  Final Chapter 4 test on Monday November 14th.
