This year Wolf Canyon’s Annual Toy and Food Drive will be held from November 3 – November 20, 2014. Every year the Chula Vista Welfare Council and Police Activity League partner with the District to make the holidays special for hundreds of our neediest families. Food boxes are delivered to over 300 families to help them through the three week winter break. Each child also receives a new toy as a gift. If you would like to participate, canned foods including tuna, 1 lb. bags of rice & beans, macaroni and cheese and peanut butter are all needed. New, unwrapped toys are especially needed. There will be donation receptacles in the school office, or students can bring donations to their teachers.

Federal Survey forms need to be returned to the school no later than November 21st.  Please make sure the forms are completed and signed.   These forms determine how much money we can receive for our school.  Every class that gets 100% of their forms completed and turned in before the deadline will receive 2 Class Orange Tickets.

The Military Family Life Program is going on now! If you are a military family, and would like some extra support for your student, please fill out the permission slip that was sent home, or contact your student’s teacher to get one. This is a great NO-COST resource, and we hope you take advantage of it!

Please be sure to send your child to school in appropriate footwear. We have PE every day, and it is important that students wear comfortable, close-toed shoes.

Don’t forget to return your library books!
